Macs Aren’t Slow.

Somehow, you got the notion Macs are slow. But wherever that notion came from, you can put it in the recycle bin. Most Macs sport the Intel Core 2 Duo processor, for amazing performance in small quarters.

Macs aren't slowIt’s made of two execution cores on the same chip, coupled with speedy cache which either core can use. This innovation lets one execution core use as much cache as need be if the other doesn’t need it. Macs just love those two processors, since Mac OS X was already built to take advantage of them, even for such mundane tasks as burning a DVD while playing TV shows.
Intel ChipPlus, since Apple designs and tests the operating system and new hardware at the same time, the company can optimize software and hardware to work well together. That means on such well-designed hardware, that MacBook Pro runs even some Windows software faster than PCs themselves, according to third party results. (They’re able to get these results with beta software from the next version of Mac OS X, Leopard. Apple Computer does not sell or support Microsoft Windows.)
